Professor Prue Morgan, Head of Physiotherapy at Monash University Australia, is a physiotherapy clinician and academic with more than 30 years of experience in neurological clinical practice and research. She has authored more than 80 publications, has secured more than $5M in grant funding, and contributed to 3 textbooks on neurological physiotherapy topics.
Professor Morgan has held multiple national and international leadership roles, for the Australian Physiotherapy Association, as a consultant for World Physiotherapy, and is the immediate Past Chair of the Lifespan Care Committee of American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine, and past President of the Council of Physiotherapy Deans, Australia and New Zealand. Prof Morgan also chairs Accreditation Panels on behalf of the Australian Physiotherapy Council with a focus on curriculum evaluation, teaching quality and benchmarking. She was awarded the title ‘Specialist Neurological Physiotherapist’ in 2008 by the Australian College of Physiotherapy in recognition of her clinical skills and scholarship.
