Brendan is an Exercise Physiologist and Managing Director of HFRC, a multidisciplinary clinic including Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists and Remedial massage therapists, with a special interest in pre- and post-surgery orthopaedic rehabilitation. More recently Brendan and his team have developed collaborations with software and technology companies to enable the delivery of expert care to anyone, anywhere through telehealth and wearable technologies.
Brendan completed a PhD in 2006 focused on joint replacement rehabilitation and biomechanics. Following this, he travelled to Canada to complete a Post-doctoral research fellowship at Queens University, Kingston, Ontario. Currently, Brendan also holds an Adjunct Associate Professor position at the University of Western Australia for sessional lecturing and research and is President of Exercise and Sports Science Australia.
