Abstracts: Call for submissions

Invitation to submit

If you’re a physiotherapist with interests in practice, business, education and leadership, this is an excellent opportunity to share your ideas, initiative, achievement, or research, while encouraging innovation and professional development collaboratively amongst the physiotherapy profession. The APA and the Conference Program Committee are keen for members and non-members to be a part of the program as abstract presenters. By presenting to your peers - you are contributing to the profession, establishing your expertise in your field, and increasing your visibility and credibility.

The conference theme, FOCUS sets the foundation for the profession to develop, encourage, lead and break new ground in physiotherapy today. When considering your abstract submission, please ensure you have something new and relevant to share with your peers. The committee is looking for a mix of research, how to sessions and case studies. Only high quality submissions will be included in the 2022 program. Please aim for relevance to one of the three streams of the conference:

Practice - application or use of an idea, belief, or method within the practise of physiotherapy.
Business - the business of physiotherapy, focusing specifically on management and leadership within a physiotherapy business or workplace.
Education - building expert skills in the areas of learning, teaching, supervision and research with a focus on both patient and professional education.
